Ian Hunter is a hands-on IT project manager, specialising in business process management and workflow automation. For the past four years Ian has led the marketing and support teams at Alia Systems: implementing process automation applications at clients including Compass Group, Dell, Derwent Information, Hazell Carr, Lockheed Martin, OCR, and Unilever; using the Ultimus workflow suite and Alia's process automation software.
He has 30 years experience in Information Technology, including requirements specification, systems procurement, development, project implementation, change management and user support. His skill areas include process evaluation, case management applications, and PRINCE project management.
He has undertaken numerous consultancy assignments including project management roles at Automobile Association, British Gas, Harrods, Knoll, Oxfam, and IBM. Ian's early career was as a systems engineer with IBM(UK) and then Chief Technical Designer at Allied Dunbar.
